Ah, noisy neighbors again.

I hope everyone is doing well after this latest incident. It seems some had fun and others not quite so much. Luckily, as a teenager, I kept more to myself so I didn't get the chance to embarrass myself as I'm sure many of you did.

It's been quite boring around here in the weeks since Shou-chan disappeared. It was nice to have a roommate. This is a rather large place to have all to myself. Perhaps I'll have to go out and be social and make some friends.

When it gets quiet like this, I remember I used to like go to up to my arboretum. If only there were one here. I suppose that going off into the forest would generally give off the same sort of ambiance. I might give that a try.

Wow. This place definitely isn't Italy. Looks more like some fantasy village out of a book! Sure would like to know how I got here though.

The old man's probably freaking out, wondering where I am. Gotta love missing out on family meetings. They're always so boring, though...

..hunh. So this book. Supposed to be some sort of communication device?

Considering the existance of rings and boxes though, I guess a magical book like this really isn't very farfetched. It's actually kind of cool.

((ooc: Byakuran's aged down just to teenaged years. Roughly 15-16. 3/5% spent so far on family traditions, mafia training, information on the rings and boxes. Will claim the final 2% near the end of this tier.))

Oh my.

I'm a tricker person than I thought.

I suppose it's a good thing I didn't do much beyond dragging Shou-chan out for the festivals we had while he was here. And that I didn't pay much attention toward that ring of his. That wouldn't have done me any favors at all. I must say though, I've been quite bored without company. This apartment feels so empty without Shou-chan's tummy rumblings and his snoring and the thuds from his falling out of bed after some scary nightmare.

I wonder what it was he dreamt about~

It’s funny how you can tell a story with so little words! Like this—

A leader of few
Unique, talented people
Flames being extinguished

Though something like that is a bit vague unless you know precisely what the author is talking about. Ha – an author, maybe I should become one! A poet~

How about this?

Devotion to some
Obsession to most others
It might just be love~

Ahh, yes. I think I’ll become a romantic poet. That seems to be my forte. My niche! Has anyone noticed the style that I’ve used? It’s my favorite. Japanese things, of every kind, do fascinate me. I wonder what it is about them! Perhaps it’s some unrecalled memory sparking my interest.

Has anyone ever wondered if it’s just your mind playing tricks on you? You don’t remember what you were good at or what you liked, so you choose randomly. Your mind will pick something for you and pretend that it’s what you were used to, pretend that maybe it’s what you’re comfortable with.

In reality? You might be a completely different person than you are now.

And you’d have no way to know.

My, the flowers are blooming at such an astounding rate! It makes me wish I were a gardener still, tending to every little blossom. It is a hobby of mine though and I wonder… could my apartment use a bit more color? There is already quite a bit of green. I have vines and ferns and some trees, a few flowers but I believe I could use more.

Yes, many more.

What do you think, everyone? I’m torn between Zantedeschia and Magnoliacaea. Though, a bit of Calluna Vulgaris would be quite lovely.

There’s nothing like a big, healthy dose of nature to brighten your day.

Isn’t that right, Tsuna~? Oh! Forgive me, I forgot. I’m not supposed to be directly addressing you. Your right-hand is going to be very angry with me for this, I do believe. He is quite the violent one, isn’t he?

Ah, there I go again. Speaking directly to you. It seems I’m not very good at playing his game, am I? What a shame. Oh well, I’m sure that soon enough I’ll have him breaking down my door. Screaming in my face.

Speaking of screaming.. I heard some peculiar sounds coming from the apartment next to mine the other day. Care to share, Mr. Right-hand? I think I saw you go in there not long before those shouts began.

EDIT:

In case anyone was concerned about those sounds I mentioned - apparently they were only training and that my neighbor likes to train. A lot.

Whew, that's a bit of a relief, isn't it?

Shou-chan~ I certainly hope that you're hiding my marshmallow bunnies from me and just forgot to give them to me.

Because I'm about to go tear apart your closet~

What a sweet little girl.

How could I have forgotten someone like Uni-chan? So small, with her giant hat that was about half her size. And the light in those eyes~ that I killed.

Shou-chan, do you remember anything about her yet? Or.. the Giglio Nero?

Her eyes remind me of someone else's. How funny.

I wish I remembered exactly what I did in that meeting of ours. Or rather, how I did it.. hmm. So interesting. She looks very much like her mother, that pacifier suits her. It makes me wonder how things are going back home in my absence.

Well. In our absence, Shou-chan~ ♥

What peace there has been lately.

A definite change from where I'm from, at least according to what I remember. This little vacation's gone on for me long enough, however. How I would like to leave.

The best solution to that is perhaps moving out of these apartments. It's something I'll have to consider.

[private to Shouichi]

It's been a while. I think the time has come to answer any questions you have about what I've remembered.

My, my, my.

Half the population at least seems to have been stricken by some odd mental illness. Or physical in some cases I've heard. How unfortunate.

OH WELL~

This architecture somewhat reminds me of home though it's not quite right and the colors are off. The cold weather and the snow make me crave some of those delicious Japanese sweet potatoes.

Shou-chan! Tsuna~? How do you make them? Do you just steam them? Bake them?

My, my.

I don't think I've seen so many turkeys in my life, let alone all in one spot. Interesting, the things that this island decides to throw our way.

Roasting one does sound particularly appetizing, though. Shou-chan! Go hunt me a turkey.

And no arguing. I'll make it worth your while. It's worth it to me just to watch you run around and try to catch one.

Anyone else up for turkey? How about you, Tsuna? Mr. Right-Hand? It'd be a nice bonding experience between friends.

Gen-chan… I told you to exterminate them. You were to get the Arcobaleno sky pacifier and the Mare Rings. I told you.

You swore your undying loyalty to me, but you waited. Waited and you told the rest of the Giglionero of my plans. You betrayed me.

Now they’re everywhere and I’m on the run. Gen-chan… Genkishi, if you were here now I’d kill you. Giglionero and the Vongola. ALL OF YOU. These woods. They’ll be a good place to hide. So obvious, they would search for me here first but it’s the closest and there are so many trees, it’s so dark. There’s no way they will be able to track me down very easily. By the time they even catch a hint of my trail I’ll be far away.

..wait. S-Shou-chan?

Shou-chan?

You too? Even you? …why? Shou-chan!

((ooc: Byakuran’s 3% has been spent on Genkishi’s betrayal of the Giglionero and the plan they had where he was supposed to annihilate the rest of the family and take the pacifier and rings. His nightmare is Genkishi betraying him and warning the family about his takeover. Even the Vongola have joined in and they’re all out to get him and kill him. Especially Shouichi.))

Shou-chan, I have a job for you.

There are laboratories here, somewhere. Laboratories tend to have wonderful and dangerous chemicals in them. They need technicians. If there are no open spots that you can apply for, I want you to befriend someone that works there. I need access to this place.

Oh. And I got some sweet potatoes if you'd like some! They're very tasty. Come try~

Shou-chan are you going to the onsen party?

If not, you should come with me. I don't want to be alone. I'd very much enjoy my best friend coming with me. We'll have a wonderful time~

Really. I'm going to drag you out. Even if your tummy aches. ♥

Hmm~ Everyone seems like they've gone back to normal.

That's very good. Being female wasn't nearly as terrible as some people thought it was. A few differences here and there. Is everyone doing well now that they're themselves again? Though I know at least one person that wasn't changed~ Tsuna, how are your guardiansfriends? I see a few were changed.

["private" to Shouichi]

And how is our happy plan of friendship coming along? Don't forget to be nice and smile. ♥

Also. Does something called the 7^3(tre ni sette) ring any bells for you?

For an entire day, I stayed in my room and wasn't quite sure what to do with myself. After deliberating the entire time...

This is fun.

Shou-chan, have you been affected? Tsuna? I know you have, Mr. Right-Hand. We should take this time to embrace this part of ourselves. We'll never get another chance. Let's go on a shopping trip and make the most of it. I need to get more flowers for my room.

And marshmallowsbut they'll make me fat..

I even remembered some very fun things~

Shou-chan~

Thank you for all of the lovely flowers. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

They have brightened up my room as well as the entire hall, it's gorgeous. It makes me feel at home, I've missed the many gardens I had. I wish there was an arboretum here. There should be flowers in every room.

Don't you agree?

I found a lovely flower today... I wonder who I should give it to~

((ooc: He'd leave a large bunch of Monksbane in front of Tsuna's door today. In the language of flowers, it means 'beware' or 'a deadly foe is near'. :D))

Shou-chan~

I remember you now. It looks as though we're quite good friends! I'd love to tell you about it if you'd like to come over.

But there's something I wonder - if people are from the same world, we're not necessarily pulled from the same timeline, are we? Strange to think about. You could know someone, say, ten years in the future, but not know their current selves. Or reversed.

BY THE WAY.

Tsuna, we haven't spoken for a while, how are you~

Things are getting very lively, aren't they?

Changing, most of them for the better though, I see. Does anyone truly have a problem with the switches that have occured? Weak are now strong, ill-tempered are now calm. Perhaps the island's given us more of a blessing than a curse this time around but I can only wonder how long it'll last.

How are you feeling, Shouichi-kun? I haven't heard from you lately. We should fix that.

It appears that breaking melons isn't in my future. Haha, what a curious event though. It provided a good amount of amusement - perhaps I'll try another melon at a later time. There still seem to be quite a few. Though, I hope all the effort at the end is worth it.

Shouichi-kun, Tsuna-kun.. have either of you managed to crack one open? It seems they all break under different circumstances. It would be a fun story, to hear how you did it, if you have.
